Legal & Platform Agreement

Terms of Service

These terms explain what you can expect from Mindstel, by The Blissful Station Mental Health Services Pvt. Ltd., and what we ask of you in return — booking, sessions, payments, cancellations and the limits of what a platform can be responsible for.

Last Updated: 21 October 2026 Governed by Indian Law
Guiding Principles

Core Pillars

Written in plain language

These terms are the full agreement between you and Mindstel. No hidden clauses, no surprises buried in a separate document.

Your therapist stays in clinical charge

Clinicians join Mindstel only through application, screening, interview and approval, and they keep full clinical autonomy over your care.

Clear before you pay

The fee, session length and session type are shown before you confirm a booking, and payment is handled by our payment provider.

Not a crisis service

Mindstel does not provide emergency care. If you are in danger, call 112 or Tele-MANAS 14416 immediately.

The Short Version

Summary for fast reference

  • You must be 18 or older, or using the platform with a parent's or guardian's consent.
  • The therapeutic relationship is between you and your therapist — Mindstel runs the platform that connects you.
  • Fees, session type and length are shown before you pay.
  • Cancel 24 or more hours before your session and you get a full refund. Inside 24 hours, the therapist is paid for the time they held for you.
  • If your therapist cancels a session they accepted, you get a full refund.
  • Sessions are confidential, but Mindstel is not an emergency service — in a crisis, call 112 or Tele-MANAS 14416.
The full terms below are what actually applies. If anything here is unclear, write to us before you book — we would rather explain it than have you guess.

Full Terms of Service

01.

Agreement & who we are

Mindstel is a digital therapy platform operated by The Blissful Station Mental Health Services Pvt. Ltd., Lucknow, India ("Mindstel", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and us, and they apply together with our Privacy Policy whenever you create an account, book a session or otherwise use the Mindstel website or apps.

By creating an account or booking a session you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the platform. We keep a record of the version of the terms you accepted so that there is no ambiguity about what applied at the time of your booking.

02.

Who may use Mindstel

Mindstel is intended for adults aged 18 and over who are able to enter into a binding agreement. Where a minor attends therapy — for example a child booked in by a parent or guardian — the account is held by the parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on the minor's behalf and is responsible for the booking, and we rely on that guardian's consent alongside the therapist's professional judgement.

You agree to give accurate information during sign-up and booking, to keep it up to date, and to use the platform only for your own care (or the care of someone you are legitimately responsible for). You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

03.

Your account

Keep your login details private and do not share your account with anyone else — your account gives access to sensitive clinical information, including your therapist's notes and your messages. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, tell us immediately and change your password.

We may require you to verify your identity before certain actions, and we may restrict access where we reasonably believe an account has been compromised or misused. You can ask us to close your account at any time; the records we are professionally or legally required to keep are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

04.

What Mindstel is and isn't

What Mindstel is

A curated, vetted place where qualified clinical professionals practise, and where you can find one of them, book securely, complete intake forms, attend video sessions and message your therapist.

What Mindstel isn't

Practice-management software, an open directory anyone can list on, a source of clinical advice from the platform itself, or an emergency or crisis service.

The platform never gives you a diagnosis, a treatment plan or clinical advice. Where we use automated tools, they only assist with operations such as suggesting potentially suitable therapists from the preferences you enter — a qualified professional always makes every clinical decision about your care.

05.

Clinicians & clinical autonomy

Clinicians cannot simply register on Mindstel. Every professional joins through application, credential review, interview and approval, and we check the qualifications and registrations they present. Listing on the platform means a clinician has passed that process, not that we supervise their therapy.

Once admitted, clinicians keep full clinical autonomy: they decide how they practise, what they recommend and how your care proceeds, and they remain responsible for their own professional conduct, registrations and insurance. Your therapeutic relationship is with your therapist. Mindstel does not direct therapy, and we are not responsible for clinical judgements made by an independent professional — though we will always act quickly if you tell us something about a clinician's conduct concerns you.

06.

Booking, sessions & scheduling

A booking is confirmed once you have chosen a therapist, selected an available time, paid the session fee and completed the intake information your therapist has asked for. Your first session is a full assessment, so please allow time to complete the intake and case-history forms before it begins — your therapist needs them to care for you safely.

  • Online sessions:Available anywhere in the world, at the time shown in your own device's timezone.
  • In-person sessions: Available in Lucknow, Delhi and Mumbai; clinic addresses are shared once your booking is confirmed.
  • Video sessions: Open automatically at the scheduled time from your bookings page; you and your therapist each need a stable connection.
  • If your therapist has not joined within 15 minutes of the start time, contact us and we will help you reschedule or be refunded.
  • A booking is for one person at one time. Please do not book on behalf of someone else unless you are their parent, guardian or are otherwise authorised to do so.
07.

Fees, payment & refunds

Session fees are set by the therapist and shown to you — with the session length and session type — before you confirm payment, in the currency displayed at checkout. Any applicable taxes are shown alongside the fee. Fees may change over time, but a change never affects a booking you have already confirmed.

Payments are processed by our payment provider; card details are handled by them and are not stored on Mindstel servers. Refunds follow one simple rule — the further ahead you cancel, the more certain your refund:

Full refund for any cancellation made 24 hours or more before the session starts.
No refund inside 24 hours. If you cancel with less than 24 hours to go, the therapist is paid for the time they kept free for you.
Full refund if your therapist cancels. A therapist who has accepted your session is expected to hold it — if they cancel, the session fee comes back to you in full.
Full refund for platform failures. If the video call fails on our side, or your therapist never joins, you are refunded in full.

Refunds are returned to your original payment method, and we tell you how long it may take when we issue them.

08.

Cancellations, rescheduling & no-shows

Life changes, and we do not want a booking to become a source of stress. Here is exactly how cancelling, rescheduling and no-shows work:

  • Your request, their acceptance. When you book, the therapist receives a session request. Accepting it means they have committed that time to you — from that moment, the therapist cannot reschedule your session.
  • Cancelling 24+ hours ahead is free. Cancel from your bookings page up to 24 hours before the session starts and the fee is refunded in full.
  • Inside 24 hours, the therapist is paid. A later cancellation means the therapist keeps the fee, because their time could no longer be given to anyone else.
  • If your therapist cancels, you are refunded. In full, always — you are not charged for a session that did not happen.
  • No-shows are treated like late cancellations. Missing a session without notice means the therapist is paid, since the slot could not be released in time.
If you cancelled late because of an emergency or a genuinely unexpected situation, tell us. We handle those cases with judgement, not a rulebook.
09.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Record, photograph, stream or share any session without the explicit consent of everyone in it.
  • Harass, abuse or threaten our staff or any clinician, or use a session or message to do so.
  • Try to access another person's account or records, or to disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the platform.
  • Impersonate anyone, post false information, or use the platform for anything unlawful.
  • Use Mindstel to seek or supply controlled substances, or to bypass professional or legal requirements.

Where safety requires it, we may limit, suspend or close an account, and we may report conduct that appears to be unlawful. We will tell you what we have done where we are able to.

10.

Your content & clinical records

You keep ownership of the information and messages you submit. You grant Mindstel a limited licence to host, transmit and display that content solely to deliver your care and operate the platform — for example, showing your intake form to the therapist you booked with. We do not take ownership of your information and we do not use your therapy content for advertising.

Notes, case history and outcome measures that your therapist records form part of your professional clinical record. They are held under the Privacy Policy and the record-keeping duties that apply to your therapist. Please do not submit information about other people unless you are entitled to share it.

11.

Technology & availability

We work to keep Mindstel available around the clock, but the internet is not perfect: we may take the platform down for maintenance, an outage may happen, and your own connection or device can fail. Keep a way of reaching your therapist between sessions, and use your booking confirmation so you can find your way back in.

Where a technical failure costs you a session, we will make it right — a replacement session or a refund. We are not responsible for the acts or failures of third parties such as internet providers or payment networks, except where the law says otherwise.

12.

Intellectual property

The Mindstel name, wordmark, design, illustrations and software belong to The Blissful Station Mental Health Services Pvt. Ltd. You may use them as part of using the service, but you may not copy, republish, or use them commercially without our written permission. Therapist profiles, photographs and biographies remain the property of the clinician who supplied them and may not be reused elsewhere.

13.

Disclaimers & limits of liability

The platform is provided on an "as available" basis. Therapy is a human process and outcomes vary from person to person; no platform, therapist or term can guarantee a particular result. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for anything arising from your use of Mindstel is limited to the fees you paid for the session affected.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence — and nothing affects your rights as a consumer under Indian law.

14.

Suspension & termination

You can stop using Mindstel at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account where these terms are broken, where continuing would put someone's safety at risk, or where we are required to by law. Where we can, we will explain why and tell you how to reach your records or a replacement therapist.

When an account closes, the records we must keep for clinical or legal reasons are retained as described in our Privacy Policy, and remain protected by confidentiality in exactly the same way.

15.

Changes, governing law & contact

We may update these terms as the platform or the law changes. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect, and the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use after a change takes effect means the updated terms apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them — subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
